In February 2024 we received a total of fifty-seven applications for the IMS Outstanding Dissertation Award (IMSODA2024), representing twenty countries and twelve different languages—a new record! The IMS decided to award two prizes this year, one each for doctoral dissertations completed in 2022 and 2023, as well as four honorable mentions:
